The Midnight Sun

by GUYON

A 300 m high cliff upon the Artic Ocean. A large parking (34Kr)and a huge building partially underground. A free presentation film of 20 mn (the line is long but the hall is large) and a small museum about the Cape. You can eat and drink seeing the midnight sun. In the Grotten Bar, a bust of Louis-Philippe 1er, King of French people, because he was one of the first tourists in 1795, when he was only the Duke of Orleans in exile. Open from 9AM to 2 AM.What a nightlife when there is no night. You can buy souvenirs at the local supermarket, or phone to your friends saying : 'Wake up ! Here it's midnight and the sun shines' , or put the stamp 'North Cape' on your passport, or buy a diploma 'I was here'.We did not really see the Midnigth Sun which was hidden by the clouds. It is very rare to see a round sun as on the traditional postcard. You can try to come in T shirt. It is allowed even in...

The meaning of a good nightlife is different from person to person, and country to country. I like quiet nights and I like it to be rock'n roll. I bet you agree that this picture shows an alternative way of spending the night.

by Daniel5

There is no favorite nightlife , very cool to go with a friend to some nice club or Pub & drink good beer or coffee , The second is to take a view at the sunset & think about the life ..and relax .Norwegian nightlife customs have changed radicallyin recent years, with the subsequnet effect that liquor laws & openning hours have been considerably liberalised. All norwegian cities have bars and pubsthat offer a full range of alcoholic beverages and most towns over a certain size have a pub. Most hotels have bars. You will find discos and nightclubs in most cities and in many towns, particulary in the weekends. In the cities the hotels offer restaurant service into the night, but nightclubs in the continental sense are not widespread in Norway. Many of the hotels at winter resort offer after-ski gathering.

puben, huset, after party: puben, huset, after party

by nordlys

Mix, a town with only 2 pubs a lot of tourists who are keen to take advantage of the tax free booze, local people who's main form of nutrition is the booze, a night club with more tax free booze and then you have a night that you won't forget if if you can remeber it the next day anything goes. the fashion police surrendered a long time ago.
