Loytnant Karlsens Bar in the Norsk Luftfartsmuseum was totally empty when I have been there, but maybe its just used for the coffe-breaks of the convention-area of the museum or when tourgroups are there.
Favorite Dish: I still have to make my mind up between these 2 sandwiches:
1) Fokker 50 for 79 NOK with roastbeef and Tzaziki
2) Spitfire for 60 NOK with cheese, bacon and bell peppers

This if the realy good place to dine. Its where the lokals go to eat if they are hungry. It not a place for romantic evenings, but it´s realy speasial in its own way. Its actually a cafe.
Favorite Dish: Whale, its often on the menu, but if you take todays spesial, you have dessert and coffey to it. The price would be about 120$.

Blix provides a more traditional sampling of Norwegian cuisine in an elegant setting. The servers are very pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu I have always inlcuded at least one visit to Blix when accompanied by first-timers to Norway.
Favorite Dish: While the specialty is fresh seafood, the lamb is good also. The entire menu provides the opportunity to enjoy good meats (or fish) paired with fresh, local vegetables. As with all Norwegian meals, the breads are not to be missed!

Great Italian restaurant in the heart of Bod?.
I found the kitchen very satisfying - and the interior is nice.
The restaurant has a renommé as the bastion of Italian kitchen in Northern Norway, and I can warmly recommend it myself.
Favorite Dish: "Filetto di agnello" with red wine sauce, cream baked potatoes....Tender...harmonic...melts in your mouth...

Mon Ami.
A cosy French style café/restaurant on top of the glasshouse building in central town. Feels like you sit outdoors, but the glass roof protects you from rain and wind. Croissants, baguettes, soups, salads and light warm dishes.
