Luggage and bags: Don't pack any dried fish!!!! You'll find plenty in the islands :) What a relief! ha ha...
I bet now you have to unpack and take that fish out of your suitcase because you have never thought they might have it in Lofoten... Oh well... Local knowledge... ;o)

what else are you going to do if it rains horizontally (the wind!) and everything's closed because it's a public holiday? better bring your pipe along... and they have some excellent tobacco there!
