We were advised to take the lift on top of the mountain to have a great overview over the town. We didn't go up because of the low cloudlayer.

This signpost can be found near the War Memorial Museum. I think it shows the direct distance between Narvik and the shown towns. Hey, the Northpole is closer than my hometown.
