Narvik hasnt been a dangerous place since the war that raged here from 1940 to 1945 when big parts of the town were in ruins. Now Narvik is a very safe and peaceful place to be. PHOTO: MY MEXICAN FRIEND PEDRO BESIDE THE MONUMENT 'GROM', IN MEMORY OF A POLISH SHIP THAT WAS SUNK IN NARVIK IN 1940.
Mind the cliffs while u are taking in the breathtaking sights!

The weather can change very quickly from sunny summer to cloudy and stormy. Always pack your wet weather gear and be papered for everything.
With all the great nature, beautiful houses, sea, mountains, this tunnel was the only danger here, it was no doubt the only unpleasant site I saw in this city.
