Allemansretten in Norway

Not quite shure where to put this tip. Could be a General tip, or Local Customs as well, but I figured most people that need to know this are people with tents.There is a law granting anyone the right to be on, pass through and camp in the nature. It's called Allemannsretten (litteraly: All mans rights). It says that you can go, camp (for maximum 2 days) anywhere you please, as long as the ground you're walking on isn't farmed, or close to houses, gardens, industries etc.A word of causion: Wildlife reserves have special rules regarding when you can visit them, and it's forbidden to camp in National Parks such as Jotunheimen and Rondane.If you want to camp less than 150 meters away from a house, you'll need permission from the owner/user of the house.If you camp, you should always clean up after you.
