maritagnes Says: The famous and beloved poet Åsmund Olavson Vinje came to Gran during his very last lifedays - and died at his near friend, the curate's house July 31th 1870. Vinje is buried near the sister churches, and this monument was raised over him in front of the Nicolai church.
