    Ringebu stavkirke.

    Ringebu stave church (Oppland, Gudbrandsdalen).
This triple-nave stave church was probably built about 1225-1250 AD. The St. Laurentius image and the font are medieval, the altar-screen from 1686, and the pulpit from 1702. The church was restored in 1921. Other attractions in and around Ringebu: Kvitfjell Alpine Centre (Olympic Arena for Downhill in 1994). Fåvang stave church (13th century rebuilt stave church). In the old Ringebu rectory: The Ringebu Collection, art exhibition of Jacob Weidemann's paintings.
