Skogshorn

Skogshorn.is a mountain on the border between Hemsedal and Valdres, i It takes around 2,5 -4 hours to get to the top with an amazing vew. On your way up you'll see some very different stones. They look like glas. On the top, there's a big cross. It says God bless our king and our contry.On the picture it's the mountain on the left surrounded by white clouds.

Grønsenknippa

GrønsenknippaA nice family trip. Very suitable for children.It's 3 km one way, and it take around an hour to get to the tup. Parking: at Grønsen høgda. Toll road is NOK 40, or 20 depending on which way your going. Adress: If coming from the south on E16, take to the left in Røn over Fosheim Bridge and to the right after the bridge. After 4-5 kilometer, take to the left towards Trollhøvd (toll road) Keep left on top of the ascent and right towards Grønnnsen and Jaslangen at Nørre Trollhøvd.

Sjoa River at Sjoa/Heidal communities in Gudbrandsdalen is well-known for it superb river rafting and whitewater kayaking.The runs through the Sjoa Gorge in Heidal are classified 1-6. 6 is considered not raftable... The river can be very difficult and it's highly recommended that you benefit from local expertise and go on an organised rafting tour. A few companies operate from Sjoa.During high waters and snow melt early in the season there may be a consent among companies on not doing commercial trips on the river. The lower part of Sjoa is a dedicated national arena for whitewater canoeing and kayaking.You can also try riverboarding; basically getting equipped in padded ice-hockey style gear and helmet, dry suit and a river board, almost like a body board, and go individually down the river.You can combine rafting with visits to heidalen, a very fine example on Norwegian rural...
