Onkel Donald, Oslo
All roads lead to UTSIDE - The best place to begin, middle or end an evening during the summer in OSLO. OK I am a bit bias because my host Stian was a bartender there and we never wait in line, but it really is a great place to go. For starters, it seems like it is always the right mix of people (aka variety). Some folks are dressed up headed to or returning from clubs, others chillin in jeans and tshirt drinking their 60 kr beers. The bar is in the center, surrounded by couches, tables, and of course good tunes playing. Norwegians LOVE to be outside during the summer months, soaking up every last warm centigrade before fall hits. Mostly natives found here on my 20 or so visits to this bar, another good reason to go. Order a pint of Ringes, don't bother doing the conversion for the pricey beer (its 8-10 depending on when you go) and say SKOL to your server. Enjoy!

First stumbled upon this place looking for internet access. They used to allow free internet use, even for non-patrons. However, the staff is quite friendly, and somehow I made my decsion to visit GOTLAND SWE after a few evenings here. But, the point is, very friendly staff, drinks pricey but the scene is worth it.
Dress Code: Chill, maybe a little on the hip side
This is a cool nightclub in the middle of the city with people mainly between 22 and 35 visiting. Several bars, all kinds of people, usually more or less well dressed. Dancing, drinking and socializing.
This is a very trendy and nice place if you are interesting in having a drink or beer. If you like to dance this is NOT the place to go, no dancefloor. (or just a small one)
There is no cover charge, and that is very good.
