Most of the good, yet not overly large concerts occur here (national and international acts). There are three venues: John Dee in the basement, Rockefeller above, and Sentrum Scene across the street. If you are coming to Oslo and want to see a concert, I'd check out their webpage to see what's on.

Rockefeller is a huge music hall, not cheap at all, in the heart of Oslo. But who cares? They have some wonderful concerts going on. I, for instance, have already bought my tickets for Bob Hund on October 10th and will soon get my tickets to 22-Pistepirkko on November 15th!!!
Dress Code: Fancy. But comfy. If you want, of course. I'm sticking to my jeans and pullover...
