BRASSERIE 45, Oslo

I was a little apprehensive upon entering the place because it was in a great location, but not very busy, but the food was very good and the prices were more comparable to other country restaurant prices. It also has a very good view of Karl Johans gate area.

Brasserie 45 is very popular due to its nice prices. They serve a variety of meats, chicken and fish. If I remember they have two different menus where some of the dishes are served in bigger portions. It is simple but great food; such as meat with fried potatos, gravy and vegetables.
Brasserie 45 has recently moved across the street and I have not been to the new restaurant yet so I don't know how it compares to what it used to be. It is not an elegant restaurant, but it's nicer than a diner.
What's not so good is that last time I went there, there were several courses and desserts that they were "out of" or that couldn't be served due to different reasons.

Favorite Dish: I like the steak with potatoes and vegetables. Not very fancy, but great food.
