Some of the best Chinese I have ever had, and I've had a lot of it. Very distinct and varied flavors and everything was very fresh. My meal was close to $50, but considering that it included 1/2 of a lobster and jumbo shrimp, the price was not out of line, even for outside of Oslo.
Most locals in Oslo will say this is one of their favourite restaurants. It's often very busy in the evenings, so I would recommend going at lunch. It's quiet, the food is good and it is conveniently located. I would describe the food as more asian fusion rather than the typical Chinese fare.
Many people say a chinese is the same where ever you go - well not so if you ever went to Dinner! They have some of the most attentive and service minded staff in any restaurant in Oslo and the quality of the food is absolutely fantastic. I've had spoiled guests from the US, Germany, France and other places visit this restaurant - and they were all very pleased! It's very popular and a table should usually be reserved in advance.
Dinner restaurant. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Europe! Not too expensive. Call for a table in good advance; maybe 14 days before, if you wish to eat at seven or so on a Friday or Saturday.
Beautiful, polite, sensible prices
Favorite Dish:
Crispy duck and all the Szechuan food
Great chinese food @ good quality/price.
Specialize in Szechuan food.
Don't forget to make a reservation.
