De Gamle Rådhus (also written Raadhus) is one of the best restaurant of the Norwegian capital. It's inside the Old Cityhall (translation of the Norwegian Gamle Rådhus) in the heart of Oslo.
It's not a cheap restaurant but it's very tasteful and you can try here a lot of traditional Norwegian dishes.
This is a great place to go in the winter time I am sure. The interior reminds me of a German pub or something, fireplaces, wood panels, etc. But the food is typical Norwegian and it is great! The little patio out back is great for sitting outside and is off from the street. Pretty quiet. The staff is laid back and very cheerful!
Favorite Dish: My favorite was the rhubarb and strawberry soup with lemon sorbet! So good.
