Rust Cafe, Oslo

I stumbled into Rust one day and was pleasantly surprised at the interior feeling. Warm candles and rustic feel made it cozy and intimate. The menu is simple and I have been addicted to the Tuna and bulgar salad with wasabi cream finish. They have tapas in the evening which are a great snack in between meals. The staff is kind and patient with non Norwegian speakers. Also a great place if your solo and have some time to kill with a good book while sipping on a glass of wine or cocktail from their modern list of drinks. Great spot for a coffee as well to warm you up.

You will meet a young and trendy crowd in this intimate cafe/bar; both families with children, couples and groups of friends. Rough and cool interior. What I didn't like was that they kept the door open even though it was freezing outside, and the chairs are a bit uncomfy.

Favorite Dish: I've only been here once and I had a salad with chicken, grilled red pepper, .. It was very nice, but it was a bit expensive compared to the amount of salad.
