University of Oslo
by littlesam1When the guys in hats came across this building we were not sure what it was at first. We noticed there were lots of bicycles and young people sitting around the steps. They looked like students....and then the DUH moment hit us. This was the University of Oslo of course.
The University of Oslo is Norways oldest and largest school for higher education. From its web page I learned that it was founded in 1811 while Norway was still under Danish rule. And the university has been the home to four Nobel prize winners.
