Don't take a taxi from the airport to the city. It cost's about a hundred dollars. You can take an express train that is not only faster, but cheaper at about $20.

Duty-Free stores in downtown Oslo. They're great place to pay extra for souvenirs. Try looking at the smaller sidestreets to get the same stuff for a cheaper price.

Everything is really expencive here in Norway so be aware of what you spend you money on if you have a tight budget
