Oslo has one of the best public transport systems...there are generally trains going in all directions every 15 minutes or so...there's also tramps and buses...also equally reliable.
A word of warning though...know the name of the town you're going to and if in doubt ask someone in the train station and you'll do just fine.
If you have enough money...hail a cab...although i think that being inside a cab you miss the entire oslo experience
Get yourself one of those small city maps from the airport or from your travel agent and walk.
Walking is the best way to get around Oslo. The town itself is small enough to walk and in the summer you have ample time to get around. The streets are interconnected, so chances of getting lost are slim...if you do get lost ask anyone...people there are really friendly.
A bit of advice for the ladies...remember to wear your most comfortable shoes...sneakers are always the best....prepare to have a good time and you'll enjoy yourself :) and make sure you take warm enough clothes for winter.

By plane to Gardermoen airport. Then fast train, ca 20 minutes or bus into central Oslo.
Also by train through sweeden or boat (ferry) from Denmark.
Buy cheap alcohol, perfume, choclate and more on the ferry.
Start partying there and continue when you arrive Oslo.
Walk, take a train, bus or taxi.

Choose for yourself. You can get here by what ever type of transportation you prefer.
By an Oslo card that gives you free access to the public transportation that is very good i Oslo and the area surrounding Oslo. The Oslo card also gives you a discount on most tourist attractions.
For info on how to get around, look at http://www.trafikanten.no.

From Sweden: by car or train. From other places: by plane or by boat from Kiel, Denmark or Sweden.
The cheapest and most often fastest way to get around Oslo is bicycle, but Oslo is built in hills, so the underground trains (T-bane) and busses are useable. It' exspencive to travel in Oslo, both collective and by car.

Norway isn't that big! Every road leads to Oslo! By car, by plane or by train. Ask anyone along your way!
And Oslo is also quite small, walking would work well, but the metro, called 't-bane' and is marked with a T, and the tram are good alternatives for you lazy ones out there.

The fastest way to get from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to Oslo is by the Airport Express Train and arrive at the central station about 20 minutes later.
If you want to start of with a road trip and get the highway view from a coach or save a few kroner, take the Flubussen or AirportExpress Coach. Flybussen is the fastest to the city of the two and does stop at some of the main hotels (At least the SAS Raddisons) while the Airport Express stops several places on its way to the city centre Bus Terminal.
Taking a taxi from the Airport to the city costs a lot, so it is better to take the train or buss and continue with taxi from the Central Station.

We flew into the airport. There is then an excellent rail service directly to the city centre, taking about 40 minutes.
We used taxis to get around the centre of town. In comparison to London, taxi drivers in most places seem pretty lost, but Oslo is one of the worst I have been to for that. However, they were generally fairly pleasant and their cars were too.

There are many ways to get to Oslo. By plane, by bus, by boat, by car or bye train. If you are lucky you'll get cheap bus- and boattickets.
'Trikken', 'T-Banen' and the bus is the most common way to travel, and the cheapest. ou'll fin the routes on the Internet

even in Pedestrian crossing without signals
if not it might be fatal.
in roundabout it might be confusing. On their way in, they're like the other vehicles
on their way out, they have priority.
