The t-bane is quite efficient and will take you to many of the most important places in Oslo, from the fjord to the forest and all over the downtown area.

I was flying either with Finnair or SAS to the Oslo Gardermoen airport.
For me, from Helsinki it is almost like a local flight, just about 60 minutes on the air.

Like any other big city the buses and subway works well here. There is also tram service in Oslo. But like many other occasions in Norway, some things seem to be a little bit behind the time.

If you're in Oslo for visitng the centre, I suggest the user of buses or trams instead of T-bane.
For example, I discovered the subway stations to be farthest to museums than bus or tram stops.

Long distance buses arrive and depart from the Galleri Oslo bus Terminal, about 5 mins walk east from Oslo central train station.
