Favorite thing: The banquet and conferance area on the top floor of Quality Hotell Residence is one of the better I have experienced. It is totally rebuilt / renovated, with a separate reception desk and administration office, several conference rooms of variable sizes and large relaxation areas. The rooms are spacious and airy and the service very professional. And for those of us who still smoke: We don't have to go all the way down and outside, there is a smoker's terrace with tables and chairs.
Escape routes are well marked, each room has access to the roof and there is a possibility to escape through the movie theater as well.
The location is very central: 2 minutes to walk from Sandnes Railway Station, 1 minute to the Bus Terminal / airport shuttle bus, 11 minutes by train to Stavanger, 20 minutes to Stavanger Airport Sola by bus.
