Mjoelhussand is a beach that lays some hundred meters away from Sandvesand. You must take the left road to come to Mjoelhussand. The road goes trough farmland and the beach is not so much famous for tourist than Sandvesand.
If you come North or South it does not matter. It's importan to drive in where the is a sign with Sandve on it. Drive to you come to a crossroad, take left turn (where there is mailboxes). Drive to Sandvesand and park your car there. Go up the road and when you see a road that goes to the left go there and follow it till you come to a beach.

Is a few sandbeaches in Karmøy and the Beach is often used by both tourist and local people in the sommertime. I have been on this beach many times with my cousin and his family from Sandve. The beach has a parking place and there is to trail's that lead to the beach. One is flat and the other is more abrupt elevating.
The second trail leads both to Sandvesand and higher areas above Sandvesand. The beach there is more to do than swimming and surfing. It's a great area for nature walks because it's have many small cliffsides and topes over the beach. The places is an intersting place for those who are geology intersted because you finds rocks that are only found here. And there is a great flora in the beach area.
