A good pair of boots is essential if you want to tackle some of the walks in the area.
Even if you don't burn easily, sun cream is important if you do a lot of walking in Norway, especially in the hills. The air is extremely clean and clear.

All year round-bring rain gear.You never know when a rain shower will appear..well,most of the year it does rain quite abit.In summer,atleast an umbrealla then.A good, warm jacket is also good. Leave a Comment

Be sure that you have anything you are expecting to use here.
If not, it will cost you to fill the gap...
If you plan to remain in Stavanger for longer time, put in your luggage your hiking shoes.
You can use them here and you will not regret.
Here the weather is changing unexpectedly so be ready for a rain even if the sun is up shining.
If you remain dry you will appreciate more the area?
Let's be serious... being in Norway you don't need anything excepting money... a lot of money.
You don’t have to bring any camera with you, because I have already made photos to every place here :))
If you don’t prefer Mediterranean Sea and the global warming will still go on, it may be a good idea to have your swimming gear with you.
The temperature of water may reach 20 degrees Celsius if you will be here to catch that day when the summer starts... and ends too.
If you have special plans, ask me and I will try to help with an advice... at least.
