Nice ambience, especially the "back room" with armchairs and a TV set, where you can relax with your coffee after the meal. The walls are covered with egyptian pictures, and the chairs in the dining area are genuinly african (according to my friend whom I was dining with, who is from Eritrea).
The food was OK, better than in the many kebab stores downtown. I am a bit disappointed that alle the dishes are served with pommes frites, though, rice would have been better.
It is not at all far from downtown Stavanger, the place absolutely deserves more customers!
Opening hours:
Sunday - Thursday 11 a.m. - 02 a.m.
Friday - Saturday: 11 a.m. - 04 a.m.
This is the only place in town for great tasting food, large servings, and friendly service at a great price. You can also watch the cooks make the food. Authentic middle eastern cuisine.
Favorite Dish:
The vegetarian falafel, because it tastes fantastic and only costs 39 kroner!
