    We went here and had a great view, I could even see the tower where we had dinner. It's quite interesting but the fortress is undergoing some restauration so there are fences and stuff disturbign the nice images.

    Stiftsgården Where our royal princess wedding was celebrated in May(congratulations Märtha and Ari!). I visited Trondheim only a couple of days later, and there was still flower decorations on the balcony. I found the garden with its benches a lovely place to sit down and enjoy the beautiful weather.

    Trondheim is a seaport located at the mouth of a river. Buildings sit right on the waterfront. I recommend renting a car. The city is just big enough to make it difficult to get around but not big enough to have a great transportation system.
