If you thought this habit of Saturday marches are silly, wait untill you see how they calculate the number of participants. Every time we have certain protests in Croatia organisers and opposition can’t agree on the number of participants, sometimes having differences in estimated numbers of up to several hundred thousands.
Well, since Trondheim is a scientific center of Norway with a strong University nothing is left to chance here. For the most popular marches you’ll see this guy on the stairs of the royal residence simply counting each participant of the certain protest.
No disagreement about numbers in tomorrows papers!
If you come here around 17 May, there will be a wonderful
parade because it is the National Day. You will see
all kinds of Norwegian costume and their mayor!
