Napoli: opinion of a real italian..

Well... to be honest, there is as much good Italian food in the restaurant as there are pink elephant flying. However, if you do NOT expect to eat a real italian pizza - nor any other italian item - you can find some of their "pizzas" quite nice. I actually get a "pizza" there myself now and then, and I even enjoy it (when I ask them please not to use indian spices on it). The atmosphere in the restaurant is also quite nice. Especially, I enjoy reading their menu, as there are virtually no italian-looking words that actually ARE italian... one example: the fish page in the menu is called "PESCHE", which in italian means PEACHES... (fish would be PESCE). Keep in mind that I am a real italian, madly in love with italian traditional food, and that I suffer when I see pseudo-italian restaurants all over the world run by non-italians that have no clue of what italian food tastes like.. I always wonder why do these guys not make their own pakistani/ chinese or whatever restaurants instead of trying to cook something they know nothing about.. I would honestly enjoy much more by tasting their own traditional food - which I am sure is very good -, instead of a bad copy of "mine".

The location of the restaurant is very central, yet not in the face of every passing tourist. From the outside, nothing reveals what's inside. The interior style is very simple but neat, and someone might just turn away because it's too much like anywhere else.
The owner is the typical Italian chef, very friendly and helpful.

The menu contains everything from ordinary Italian-style to Steak and Fish.

Favorite Dish: I need to learn to document better, but it was the most expensive dish on the menu, with two steaks, sauce of red wine, mushrooms, baked potatoe. The quality of the food was even surpassed by the size of the dish. I've had many steaks - but none as tasty and mellow as this.
