Nordfjord is a paradise for fishing fans.

Eidselva River is a good salmon river and there's also plenty of fish in the Eidsfjord.
Fishing permits are available for salmon and trout are available.

The fjord lakes located on the fjord arms and valleys are offering good opportunities for inland fishing and also good stocks of trout and char.

Stryn has a long tradition in fishing, the first tourists coming in this area for salmon fishing in the 1860s.

Stryn is also a wonderful starting point for hiking in the mountains.

You can get to mountain farms, tall and steep mountains or glaciers if you want to.

The mountain farm of Meland is situated at 500 metres above sea level, and is an excellent walking tour in the evenings.

For those seeking something more vigorous, Storskrefjell is recommended at 1814 metres above sea level.

As Strynsvatn Camping is located on the shore of Stryn fjord we couldn't miss a dive in the refreshing glacier water.

The Camping has a bathing place with diving board and floating landing stage for boats and is also offering boats and canoes for renting

For the fishing fans Stryn Lake is the ideal place. The fishing licenses can be bought on the site at reasonable prices and salmon, trout and char are just waiting in the lake!
