I spotted this little lighthouse as the ship was pulling out of the harbour. Here's a few facts I found out about it. It was established in 1832 and the present lighthouse was built back in 1900. It stands 118 feet tall with it's focal plane standing 154 feet high. It is still currently used for navigating ships in and out of the harbour.

the øya is a small ferry that travels between Kristiansand and Lillesand. It's a beautiful trip. You can take the bus back.
