by Azhut Here you can see me in front of a little waterfall. Larvik is famous because of this waterfall, and it depends on it's water: it is used and sold in every norwegian town. We can say that this water is the only one consumed in Norway. It easy to verify it, it is enough to enter in a pub or in a restaurant to see that most of the norwegians drink beer and wine (not that much becuase it is very expensive) and sometimes some orange juice. by Azhut Larvik in really a tiny village in comparison with the others not only in Norway but around Europe too. This is due to the low number on inhabitants of this land. Of course most of then are concentrated into "great town" like Oslo and Bergen. In the picture you can see one of the largest square in Larvik, very simple architecture, a small fountain, close to the fjord and of course to the harbor. Leave a Comment

by Igraine The coast surrounding Larvik and other cities are crowded with Viking remains. This graveyard is located a bit outside Larvik on a hill and dates from the 3rd century AD. The stones are placed so that they form an oval shape. Because it was already almost dark when i got there it was rather spooky

Small circle by Igraine I didnt even see this small one last time since it was all covered up in snow!

Big circle by Igraine Instead of wading through the snow i walked through fallen leaves and i can tell you thats much easier. I went up again to get better (read brighter pics).

Norwegian Krone (NOK) by Marpessa This was the first time I used a currency so different from my own (The GBP and Euro are similiar enough to the Australian dollar for me to relate easily to them). I actually thought the currency was nice, and now have enough '1 Krone' coins left to make myself a bracelet (don't know if I'm actually going to do that). Leave a Comment

me by Igraine Those stones are quiet high. One always wonders why and how they did it.
