The typical bride seems to have a fantasy of being a princess in a castle .... or so it would seem. One couple after another came to the castle with their photographers to have their wedding pictures taken in these beautiful surroundings. We especially liked the couple who danced in the courtyard outside our window...but there were many others around the gardens and grounds of the castle. They kept coming all the way until about 8:30 at night.

I didn't know about this custom till I returned to Baranow in July 2006. Just-marrieds come to the castle to have their wedding photos taken in the beautiful scenery! There were at least four couples that Saturday evening, posing in the courtyard and in the upper gallery. Some of them had champaign with them and even danced in the courtyard, very romantic. This one couple in the picture posed for us while we were taking photos from our hotel room at the castle. They were so cute!
