Zubr is one of the two local beers coming from the Dojlidy brewery in Bialystok. You may find it is a bit on the stronger side with the 6.2% alcohol content but it's really nice!
"Zubr" is the Polish word for "lowland bison" so it's the beer to try if you go to Bialowieza :-) You can actually by this beer all over Poland, and it is well-known for a funny commercial in which bisons, standing in the deep forests, are humming a tune from a Polish movie, hehe!
Another local beer is called Dojlidy, also available throughout Poland.
