Favorite thing: These are the photo by me that I took around Birkenau Death Camp, near the Auschwitz Camp.
It is 175 hectares & this camp had over 300 prison barracks, 4 huge gas chambers complete with a crematorium.
Each gas chamber could accomodate 2000 people & there were electric lifts to raise the bodies to the ovens.
This camp could hold 200,000 inmates at a time...
The last photo taken by me at Birkenau Death Camp...After this, I would slowly walk out & took the same bus which would take me to Auschwitz Camp & then preceeding on taking the bus back to Krakow.
I remember it was a very very very slow journey back to Krakow because all the sadness from seeing/being at these 2 camps were playing on my mind...I felt so sad !
The saddest bus journey ever taken by me, I could say, y'know.The next Death Camp that I went also on this 2nd trip to Europe would be at TEREZIN (Czech Republic);

Slowly, I walked back to the entrance or rather the main watch tower & went up. On here I could take more amazing photos of the area...You could see some prisoners barracks there on the photo, taken from the top of the watch tower.

All those human ashes were dumped into this pit ! Sad...

I shall bring you guys closer to these ruins...They are left just like after the Nazi left them in 1940's.

Now we shall see some ruins in Birkenau Death Camp.
These ruins were left by the Nazi because they were running out time in hiding their work on humankind...They couldn't really hide it ! Up to these days, we can still traces of these wrongdoings especially on these ruins...
