There's a big variety of nightlife attractions (as for the town of that size) in Gliwice. There are many pubs, some restaurants, discos, some night clubs, 3 cinemas and 1 gigantic Cinema City u/c, music theatre, city theatre and karaoke pubs. From time to time there are organized open-air parties and concerts on the Krakowski Square (the biggest one in Gliwice)
Some buildings in Gliwice are well-illuminated. Here are the examples.

The most obvious choice is Gwarek; a nightclub right in the main square. Admission is about $1 - $2.50 depending on the night. It is a pretty nice place, well taken care of, and nicely decorated inside with all black and tons of balconies and levels. The only downside is that Gwarek is mafia operated, so in coming there you are indirectly supporting the criminals of Poland.
