It's small, but make no mistake about it - Gliwice is an important city with good train connections. You can catch trains here going anywhere in Poland, and to the surrounding countries. Zipping by in the foreground is a little green Fiat. In Poland it's called maly fiat or Fiacik. It's just about the cheapest car you can get, driving it is comparable to driving a tin can, and you will see a whole lot of them over there. If you have a maly Fiat and your friends get mad at you, they might just pick it up and hide it from you. If a tall, big guy wants to drive a maly fiat, he has to take out the front seat and drive it from the back seat. Believe me, I saw it done! I want to bring one of those things here to the U.S. Maybe one day you will see me, zipping past you in a little fiat!
