Jozefoslaw Shopping

The French-based Auchan chain of discount stores has a gigantic store in Jozefoslaw that rivals anything I've ever seen in the United States. It's like a Super Wal-Mart or Super Target, but with better food and an absolutely jaw-dropping selection of beer, liquor, and wine. We got all our food at Auchan to feed our group while working on the Habitat for Humanity work site in Jozefoslaw each day. The deli and bakery are fantastic, with an amazing selection of meat, cheese, and bread. Outside the store, but still in the same building, you'll also find several smaller boutique stores selling all kinds of things, from wine to children's clothes. The prices at Auchan were much lower than you'd find in an equivalent store in the US, so I had a great time there. And if you plan to bring home any alcohol from Poland, this is definitely the place to get it. Not only is the selection enormous, but the prices were ridiculously low.
