Regional Chmaber in Makow Podhalanski contains lots of historical photos and documents which are connected to the town, old tools and other things of everyday life of locals (paintings, sculptures, wooden tools, fancy-work). Local fancy-work is very intersting and shows usually plants' themes.
The museum commemorate nazism times in Makow too. There is a sign telling about killing 42 people during pacification of Zagorze. People who were killed were in the age from three months to 82 years. This was on April 4, 1944. The other sign says about shooting 13 citizens of Makow on the same day.

Regional Chamber in Makow Podhalanski contains a unique collection of things which are very important for Makow's history and tradition. The Chamber has been located in a mansion called Paczosowka from 1892-96. The museum was opened thanks to Emil Wacyk and Kazimierz Stopa.
The Regional Chamber in Makow Podhalanski is located in the main street but it is off the beaten path. Even citizens to not know that it exists! I asked several people and they said that they have no idea where to find it. This is probably because the Chamber is located in the same building where local public library is situated. And everyone knows where the library is...:)
