THE OLD POTTERY

On the southern side of the exposition "The Chambers of Teutonic Order Dignitaries", there is a group of rooms belonging to the cellar and kitchen masters.
You can find a collection of the old pots there.

A LIVING-BEDROOM OF THE HOUSE COMMANDER

Look at my picture: is there a bedroom or a living room of the house commander? Both, I suppose. Hmm... not too roomy but it was built by and used by the Teutonic Order. So do not expext king size beds hehe.

THE SILVER CHAMBER

The first floor of the High Castle's western wing housed the residential and office interiors of the monastic dignitaries of Malbork. The original interiors of Teutonic times have not survived to this day. Numerous transformations and reconstructions of this part of the Castle have led to the loss of the Gothic arrangement.

On the northern side, there is the group of interiors belonging to the monastery's under-treasurer (tresler), including a vestibule, residential apartment, treasury (known as the silver chamber) and the office interior - the tresler's chamber.

THE EXPOSITION

There were 20 permanent and additional 2 temporary exhibitions located in the huge Malbork's castle.
Most of the expositions are located in the High Castle in basements and cloisters of the Courtyard.
It's 2 full days needed to visit and to discover all of them, I think. My time was limited, so i can give you only a few recommendations in the next tips.

THE MAIN ALTAR

The main altar of the High Castle Church is still in renovation. Hmm... I wonder how it will look when you go there. So, don't forget to take a picture for me, please.
As for now it doesn't look too pretty, but it looks old hehe.

THE CASTLE'S CHURCH

This church is still in renovation but opened to the public. It's said that the renovation is very expensive, very difficult and it will take many years.
Meanwhile you can look at the interior of the church and... imagine how it looked in the past centuries.

THE HIGH CASTLE

The architecture of the High Castle seems to be a little bit chaotic at some places. No wonder the castle was reconstructed many times in its history.
There were new parts added to older ones. Look at my picture if any doubts :-).

THE WELL IN THE COURTYARD

Look at the well from the 2nd floor of the High Castle. As you can see it's covered by the huge roof with a bird(s) sculpture on the top.
Hmm... the light of sun makes taking pictures a little bit fifficult in the courtyard but you always can take a picture from the other side.
