  • In Kazimierz - around Plac Nowy

    Krakow Nightlife

There seemed to be plenty of locals and it seemed like every 3rd person was on a laptop! Mixture of geeks, students and tourists taping away on their keyboards. Seemed like this place was an 'any time' of day place and pretty laid back. French and Brazilian music make the place even more French. Lots of books and magazines in different...

I was in Warsaw on some of the hottest days of the summer. Gosia and I had been walking from place to place and we decided it was time to take a break for a cold one. A nice cold vodka and tonic hit the spot that day. We sat at the bar in the afternoon before the activity of the evening got under way. However I understand that there is live...

This place is just off Starowislna, at it's junction with Sienna. There are several sections within this club, each playing different kinds of music, so there will always be something playing for everyone! The decor is very funky, with a lot of space to sit down, as this place is very big from inside. It is both long and wide, creating a great...

This place serves great drinks, and at relatively good value for a tourist haunt. The decor is really funky, with photos of all sorts of celebrities, particularly supermodels, pop-stars, etc slapped all over the walls. Layout of the place is good, allowing you to huddle together in groups in several corners. In proportions, it's a narrow but deep...

You will find this bar mentioned in just about every Krakow guidebook and rightly so too, though in my opinion, less so for the communist-era junk which gives the place its "theme", than for the simple fact that it is a chill, slightly off-beat place to hang out over a few beers and enjoy the atmosphere. In the early evening the local sport is...
