In Poland I always recommend driving along side roads.I agree, their quality is not very good, but they are quite empty and you can pay more attention to surroundings. One thing which is very cute is that in Poland you can see numerous stork nestles and birds themselves as Poland is called their homeland. Leave a Comment

Kazimerz Dolny is a smallish town, some 100 km south-east from Warshaw. It's stands on the bank of Wisla river. This town is kind of funny. It's so far north but I got a feeling like being in some alpine village. You can see some very beautiful houses here. Leave a Comment

Kościół Bożego Ciała, the Church of Corpus Christi, is a fine Gothic church located in Krakow's Kazimierz district. This part of the city, though historically important, does not receive the masses of tourist that the Stare Miasto does. Hence the Church of Corpus Christigoes largely unnoticed by foreigner tourists. In fact the only people inside of the large building was a local bible study class. Although Gothic, the church has some baroque features in the interior most notably the choir stalls and pulpit. The facade of the church is typical Polish Gothic and has a high, impressive steeple. Lezajsk in Southeastern Poland is a small town known as one of the birthplaces of chassisdism. More than 300 years ago Elimelech Weissblum, one of the founders of Chassidism lived here, admired and sought for counsel not only from Jews, but also Catholic and Orthodox Christians. Over the past years, his tomb has become a destination of pilgrimage for orthodox Jews from all over the world. Leave a Comment

On our first day in Poland we went for a walk in the Karkonosze National Park. This is a nice park with quite some mountains. Make sure to pack some warm clothes, because one moment it is sunny and another moment the fog can set in. Leave a Comment
