by Wiktoria Palace Krzyztopor in Ujazd. You'll stare at these ruins of once magnificent aristocratic residence for hours and you still won't be able to believe their size. This palace is a very interesting object. It used to be the BIGGEST RESIDENCE in Europe until the Versailles in Paris supressed it. The ruins are astonishing and a little bit spooky at the same time. The Osolinski family used to own the palace. Like many aristocratic families the Osolinski family had a strange design in mind when they commisioned the place. The palace has 4 TOWERS FOR 4 SEASONS, 12 HUGE HALLS FOR 12 MONTHS, 52 ROOMS FOR EACH WEEK AND YEAH, YOU GET THE PATTERN 365 WINDOWS FOR THAT SAME NUMBER OF DAYS IN THE YEAR. Leave a Comment

by Wiktoria Piatek (meaning Friday). This town marks the exact CENTER OF POLAND. Actually the exact center is marked by the stone monument (in the picture) outside the city center. The picture is not very clear because it was taken while driving. Also the date in the bottom right corner is wrong. The clock in the camera wasn't set right. The picture was really taken in August 2001. Leave a Comment

by Wiktoria Sandomierz is one of Poland's most picturesque little towns. Actually, in the 12 century, Sandomierz was one of Poland's most important commercial centers. It's nice to admire Sandomierz from the river side since the town is situated on a hill. Leave a Comment
