I had a very hard time finding digital video tape in Warsaw and Krakow. Digital 8 and Hi8 tapes were very hard to find and I can't recall seeing any DV tapes anywhere. Lots of regular 8mm though.
No need to buy bottled water or bring it with you, there is great free mountain water available.
