By Bus, The PKS bus terminal is close to the centre. Buses to Lublin depart every half hour.
To Warsaw (127 km) is less frequent.
Both these destinations are also serviced by Polski Express; With 7 departures to EACH destionation !
My own experience, I took the bus to Kazimierz Dolny from a bus-stop by the road side in Pulawy...You can see my friend Piotr, walked away after he made sure that I took my bus to my next destionation ! How nice !

Reaching Pulawy was nearly not happened to me. I was talking with this guy on the train to Lublin & he suggested that I should spend a few hours at his hometown Pulawy with him as my tour guide! I accepted.
The photo on the left is the train station. The other train station is called 'Pulawy' only. The one on the photo is closer to the town centre, but it is still 2 km north-east of the town centre area..it is service by city buses or taxis.
At least 1 train per hour to Lublin, 50 km. It's convenience to travel by bus at it connects from centre to centre.
Trains to Warsaw, 125 km. Run roughly every hour; Krakow, 294 km, there is one morning & one evening train or we can go to either Radom, 78 km or Kielce, 157 km, where the train connections to Krakow are regular.
