  • Polish Cuisine

    4 out of 5 stars

    Warsaw Restaurants

It is a great restaurant for a taste of local food, I especially liked the traditional dumplings stuffed with onion, cheese and potatoes. I warmly reccomend this tavern located on Chmielna street, just a block away from the famous Nowy Swiat street.

As soon as I entered Ariel, I was charmed by the atmosphere. A small gift shop at the front of the restaurant offers a nice assortment of gifts, soulvenirs and post cards. There are many milk bars in Krakow, and though the food is cheap, it's also delicious. Obviously, they have milk, but also yogurt drinks and other dairy products. Aside from dairy, they have perogies (of course!), meat dishes (such as schnitzel), salads, soups, etc. At the one where I went, food was served cafeteria-style - all you have to do is...
