The main market square is quite big for such a small town. There is the building of the town hall in the centre of the squere. The market is really well kept - as the all town is. However, the squere is almost dead - only one kiosk and one restaurant.

The Zegrzynskie Lake is an undoubted attraction of Serock area. It is an artificial lake, created in 1964, as a result of water damming of the Narew and Bug rivers. The Lake covers an area of 3,300 ha. The Zegrzynskie Lake is mainly known as a perfect place for recreation. It is estimated that 1500 sailing boats moor here every summer. Long-existing yacht clubs have trained generations of sailors here The small distance from Warsaw allows many sailors to get here very fast. Every year many yachting competitions is organized on the Lake which makes this beautiful stretch of water very popular among people from Warsaw and local citizens. In winter when the water of the Lake is deep frozen other activities take place here.
Sercok is a place where Zegrzynskie lake and two rivers - Narew and Bug - meet. It makes the place awesome!

Although the main market square is quite big in Serock there is only one restaurant in the square - Bosman. What is more, the restaurant is nothing special - modest and with good prices. The food was tasty and service ok.
I have seen the information that you may pay by credit card here but in fact, not possible.

The Town of Serock is located in the central part of the Masovian Voivodeship, in the Legionowo County, near the route to Mazury Lake District and Suwalki Region. It is located 40 km from Warsaw.
Not possible to get by train. You may take a bus from Warsaw (Zachodnia or Dworzec Gdanski). Almost all buses going in a direction of Pultusk, Suwalki, Ostroleka, Przasnysz - stop in Serock. The ticket is around 5 - 6 PLN.

In Serock it is possible to find an old wooden houses like in the picture. I would say that those houses are more popular in the South of Poland, not North.
