There are not so many restaurants in Slubice, i don´t remember the name of this one. A local restaurant in the town.
Favorite Dish: We did have Schnitzel and local beer. It was very good and quite cheap. If you are going to eat in Frankfurt, cross the bridge to Poland - it is much cheaper. And you also get to see another country and culture.
Slubice is the first city in Poland you reach after leaving Frankfurt Oder, just cross the bridge and you are in Poland or back in Germany!
We went to Frankfurt/Oder using a regional train and walked then over the town bridge to Slubice. We just had to show our passports; easy and quick procedure if you walk. Takes most likely somewhat longer if you go by car. The line of cars waiting to cross the border was quite long when we were there.
Small tobacco and alcohol shops
What to buy: Cigarettes and vodka is much cheaper here than in Germany (ore other West-European countries).
This seems to be the main reasons why many germans go to Slubice
What to pay: quite cheap
