Actually I would like to write about getting from Stalowa Wola (but transportation, thank God, works in two ways). We're situated some 200km from both Krakow and Warsaw, 100km from Lublin and some 150 from the Ukrainian Lviv and there are some interesting sites around the town (like Sandomierz, Baranow, Lancut and other), so You may choose (if you come here:P) to take a bus. Go on then and have courage (you may need it when you look at some of the busses, but seriously they only look that way, so don't worry)!
Anyway the rules that apply here are similar to those in other Polish public transport companies. When you buy a ticket don't search your seat number (even if you somehow find out where it is written on the ticket ;-) ), sit in the best seat there is left. Arguing with people who have taken Your seat is by many seen as rude- me too. So if you're first- you're lucky. If not- tough luck...
