A bus leaves Krakow main bus terminal every 30min and it is only 50km away from Krakow. There is also a train called the Pope Train which leaves Krakow main station at 8.55am, 12.55pm and 4.55pm stopping at Logievanki and Kalwaria Zebrydowska as well as Wadowice.

We arrived to Wadowice by my car driving from Krakow via Kalwaria Zebrzydowska towards my hometown Tychy on Highway 96. We parked a car on town square (on the left of Highway 96) called Plac Jana Pawla II just by the basilica.
Wadowice are located in southern Poland, 50 km (31 mi) southwest of Krakow, 14 km (8.7 mi) west of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska and 23 km (14 mi) southeast of Auchwitz (Oswiecim).
It's not so comfortable to get to Wadowice either by train or by bus.
Check your train timetable: European Timetable.
You can go there by bus as well. There are scheduled buses by PKS (name of company) from Krakow, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Auschwitz (Oswiecim) and other towns and cities: you can download timetable (in Word file in Polish only) from page: Wadowice.net by clicking on right at Rozklad PKS, z Wadowic.
