Avoid to stay there.The sanitaries are rearly the worst, I've ever seen in Poland.Proper but looks like from some weeks after wordwar IIIf you want to take a shower, do it in advance
Don't drink with people you don't know! And watch your drink! You can get something in it and then you will be completely blacked out! (experienced!)
Be aware that Polish roads are showing the the lack of spending upon maintenance, and as a result can be somewhat bumpy!

The train station area in Warsaw is not safe or nice, so get out of there as soon as you can.
Watch out if someone offers you a cup of sweet tea with some kind of alcohol in it - it is deceptively lethal
Heavy drinking is a way of life for many Poles and there may be a few drunks around. Usually they do not pose a problem to foreigners.
There is vegetarian food to be found in Poland but be careful that their idea of vegetarian cooking means taking the meat out afterwards.
Petty crime such as pick pocketing can be a hazard as with many European countries, along with thefts from cars.
