South Park - Park Poludniowy, Wroclaw

This rather little park (0,25 square kilometer) is located between streets Powstancow Slaskich, Sudecka, Waligorskiego and Kutnowska. Main feature of this park is a scenic pond with fountains. You can watch it from observation terrace or in more informal way, laying on grass :). South Park is perfect if you want a short walk or jogging (you are allowed to take your dog with you). If you come by car, leave it on Kutnowska street or at small car park at Waligorskiego street. Park is open 24 hours a day. Although it is rather a safe place, it is not recommended to visit it alone after dusk.

In Wroclaw are some parks. The town is very green. The South Park is very nice place for rest. It is located between ul. Powstancow Slaskich and ul. Sudecka and have the area of 25 ha. In summer go there many people. They make picnic here or go to a restaurant in park. Time to time are here folk festines.
You can see here many botanical specimens: Taxodium distichum, Liriodendron tulipifera, Carya ovata, Aesculus hippocastanum Digitata....

Wroclaw in May is something that you just have to see. I hate Wroclaw during the winter but in spring there is nothing that can keep me locked in my flat, as long as it does not rain of course. Every time I go out for some business I try not to go back home as long as possible, because.....it's not possible. Wroclaw in May is the most beautifull place on earth.
