This is a great festival with lots of livinghistory groups from several european countries.
Saw a performance of a group of Belarussia which will perform at our museum in 2006.
Biskupin museum is certainly worth a visit with beautifull reconstructions of houses and so many beautifull lakes.
Around Biskupin there are 2 small villages (upper and down)called "Wenecja"meaning Venice,.
One of the Museum staff showed me around the area and we saw an old blacksmith in a city which name i cant remember right now
There is too a district with the Early Middle Ages settlements. You can see not only the architecture of this time, but too the dresses and how lived the people in this periode of history.
Very interesting is to know how the people made pottery, prepared eating.... You can taste too the bread or the beer of the Middle Ages browery :)

to this Festival comes many guests and tourists from Poland and others countries ( Germany, Holland, Czech....)
There the girls from Holland make a bath in the wash-tup like the ouers ancestors.
The Biskupin Lake is not big. You can sail on the old boat around the lake. This is a very nice experiance.
This small boat is made of the tree steam. You can see there how was it made and if you are not affraid - try to sail..
